It's great to see children reading at home! Adiyan reads with such confidence and we really enjoyed receiving these videos! Well done Adiyan, keep up the good work, we are all very impressed.

Wow, Noor has been busy at home! Last week, she learnt all about the number 7 and send in this wonderful photo. She has been doing a great job at keeping up with her home learning packs. Well done!

This story is all abut a crocodile who was very selfish. However when the crocodile was shown kindness he changed his attitude and ended up feeling much happier when he was sharing with others.

Today we are going to look at the initial sound "o". Have a look in your work pack. Can you draw anything that starts with the initial sound o? Have a look around your house and make a list of as many words you can think of.

How many different ways can you make 10? If you are feeling confident, see how many different ways you can make 20! Remember, you can use objects from around your house such as: pasta, toys, sweets, pieces of fruit or anything else you can find!
See if you can have a go at this mindfulness breathing exercise. This is a great activity for you to practise at the start of the day, when you are feeling overwhelmed, or when you have a few quiet minutes throughout the day.

We have been learning all about animals in school. Crocodiles are reptiles. This means they lay eggs, they have dry, scaly skin, they cannot breathe under water and they are cold blooded animals. Can you use your knowledge of crocodiles and the picture below to help you write some sentences about crocodiles?
We would like you to practise your counting today. Watch the videos to see if you can count forwards and backwards to 10. You can also have a go at counting to 100 if you feel like a challenge- good luck! Use the songs to help you fill in the missing numbers in the 100 square.
Exercising is a great way to start the New Year!

Have a go and see if you can keep up with the different moves. Make sure you have enough space to move around. Have a go at moving your body in different ways and think about what effects these exercises have on your body.
