Have a listen to the story "Owl Babies". Can you spot any verbs?



Balance (verb)- "The owl's balance on a branch". 

Have a look around your house. Can you find anything you can balance? Can you balance something on your nose?

Oracy and topic 18.01.21

Today we have a challenge for you! We learnt about all of the different parts of our body in school. We would like you to sing the song 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' whilst touching the right part of your body. Ask your grown up to video you performing the song and send it to your teachers! Maybe you could sing the song in the language you speak at home... You could ask your grown ups to join in too! We can't wait to see your videos.

Read the story 'Owl Babies' again, watch the video or ask a grown up to read it to you. Can you act out the story using the puppets in your packs? Have a look at the video for actions you could use. We are SNOW impressed with your snowmen and winter pictures... 15.01.21

Here are some of the snowmen submissions and snowy pictures that have been sent in.. come and take a look...

Adam

Adam is wrapped up warm and ready for winter with his winter scarf and wellies! Look at this amazing snowman... we love the carrot nose!






Adam has been busy getting creative! Have a look at this snowman picture! He has used lots of different resources to make his snowman... how creative!




Daisy
Wow! We love Daisy's snowman too! She is so resourceful... we love the sticks she has used to make the arms of the snowman. Well done Daisy!


Adiyan
Here is Adiyan enjoying the snow! Adiyan is wrapped up nice and warm and is ready for winter. 



Hashim
Hashim has also made a wonderful snowman! He has used twigs to make the arms and a carrot nose! What a great snowman Hashim.



Come and have a read of some of Hashim's winter writing! He has written the sentence, "the snowman can throw a snowball". Great job Hashim, what a lovely snowman drawing. We love the red hat!



This winter picture was made using oil pastels. Hashim has drawn some trees, the moon and some snow!
