We are learning about the digraph 'ck'. Watch Geraldine the Giraffe try and find the things in her house with the 'ck' sound.
Today we have a challenge for you! We learnt about all of the different parts of our body in school. We would like you to sing the song 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' whilst touching the right part of your body. Ask your grown up to video you performing the song and send it to your teachers! Maybe you could sing the song in the language you speak at home... You could ask your grown ups to join in too! We can't wait to see your videos.
Read the story 'Owl Babies' again, watch the video or ask a grown up to read it to you. Can you act out the story using the puppets in your packs? Have a look at the video for actions you could use. Ask a grown up to film you retelling the story and send it to your teacher at year1@hovingham.org.
