A verb is a word which describes an action in a sentence (the word that is doing something).
Have a listen to the story "Owl Babies". Can you spot any verbs?
Balance (verb)- "The owl's balance on a branch".
Have a look around your house. Can you find anything you can balance? Can you balance something on your nose?
Can you balance something on the table? How many different things can you balance on top of each other?
