Home Learning 26.02.21

Hi everyone! Hope you have had a lovely half term! We are really looking forward to seeing everyone again when we are all back in school on the 8th of March. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent work in. We love seeing what you have been doing at home and over the half term. Come and take a look at some of our fantastic home learning from the past week...

Amilah

We are so impressed with Amilah's work! Here is Amilah's collage of the 4 seasons! Have a look at the different coloured leaves on the trees. Amilah has also been working really hard on her Maths and Phonics. Great job Amilah, keep it up!

Daisy

Daisy has been on a scavenger hunt around her house! Have a look and see what she found. Can you count how many spoons Daisy found? How many pencils are there? Can you name the different types of fruit Daisy found? Daisy has also written about the things that make her happy and designed her own rainbow picture using her favourite colours! Great work Daisy!

Here is a video of Daisy singing to A La Bamba!
We loved your video Daisy!

Tauseef

Wow Tauseef has been working on his phonics pack and has done such a great job at thinking of different words that contain our Phase 3 sounds! Tauseef has also written all about the Hedgehog from our story, "While We Can't Hug". Well done Tauseef! He has written in full sentences, used finger spaces and full stops! Fantastic!

Adam

Adam has drawn a hedgehog from our story! We love your hedgehog Adam! Adam has been doing loads of fantastic home learning and has been working hard with his Phonics- here is Adam learning the "ure" sound! Adam has designed his own shield filled with things that make him special. Here is Adam creating his under the sea picture. What a lovely collage!

Manaal

Well done Manaal for sending your work in! Manaal has been solving addition problems and counting with dominos! She has also answered some silly questions by using her phonics to read different sentences and working out if they are true or false!

Asiya

Asiya has been busy baking at home! Look at these biscuits she has made- don't they look delicious? Thank you Asiya, they were lovely!

Thank you to everyone! We look forward to seeing you all again soon! Don't forget to email year1@hovingham.org with any of your home learning or activities you have been doing at home.
